Shenmu, a county located in Shanxi province boarders Inner-Mongolia with a vast desert, has been known as China's Kuwait for its rich coal resources, and citizen there have enjoyed the free medical care, free education system for many yeas. However, the Shenmu miracle can no longer last as coal and gold prices continued to tumble in 2013, and the private lending network in Shenmu collapsed, dragging people who made their fortune overnight into poverty again.
